An established North Devon cleaning business is on the market! Bideford-based Sheila Stanley has instructed Blacks Business Brokers to find her a new owner to take over the North Devon franchise of the national cleaning business, Thomas Cleaning.
Thomas Cleaning serves domestic and business customers and operates on a franchise basis with franchisees each having exclusive rights to a specific territory. Ms Stanley has operated the Devon franchise since 2015 and has seen her number of customers grow exponentially, regularly attending to 28 customers, the majority of whom are domestic.
Ms Stanley currently works full-time in the business, with support from one self-employed individual, Rose Fardoe. In the most recent financial year, the business had revenues of £33,000.
The asking price for the business is £22,995. The price reflects Ms Stanley's desire to make a quick sale and progress with her retirement plans. The business does not owe any outstanding franchise fees to Thomas Cleaning, and a new owner would take over the franchise's existing 28-strong customer base. They would also be able to take advantage of Thomas Cleaning's fantastic central customer lead generation service which is operated form head office and valuable for gaining new customers, should a buyer wish to grow their existing clientele.
