Blacks Business Brokers is delighted to announce the successful sale of Cafe Verditer, a well-established independent café in the desirable Surrey town of Weybridge.
Originally established in 2011 and owned by our client since 2017, Cafe Verditer earned an excellent reputation for its freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches, cakes and speciality coffees. Over the years, the business built a loyal customer base while also benefiting from a constant flow of passing trade thanks to its prominent position on Weybridge High Street.
The café occupies an attractive ground floor premises within a busy shopping parade, surrounded by a mixture of independent retailers, national brands and offices. Beautifully presented throughout, the business offers seating for 24 customers inside together with additional outdoor seating, creating a welcoming environment for customers throughout the year.
At the time of sale, Cafe Verditer was generating an annual turnover of approximately £226,700 and a reported net profit in excess of £85,000. The business also presented exciting opportunities for future growth, including extending opening hours, introducing evening trade, expanding takeaway and delivery services, and developing an outside catering offering.
